Post Date: 2019-06-18 07:12:26 by Deckard
from the here's-the-payoff-for-abusing-the-public's-trust-repeatedly deptMon, Jun 17th 2019 8:11pm Tim Cushing The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has just handed down a refresher [PDF] on a few legal issues, most notably what is or isn't "reasonable" when it comes to suspicion. Police officers thought an anonymous tip about a man carrying a gun and someone running away from them created enough suspicion to chase down Daniel Brown, stop him at gunpoint, and search him for contraband. Contraband was found, leading to Brown's motion to suppress. The lower court said this combination -- an anonymous report of a gun and Brown's decision to run when he saw ...

Post Date: 2019-04-03 19:35:05 by Justified
SACRAMENTO, Calif. High-capacity gun magazines will remain legal in California under a ruling Friday by a federal judge who cited a home invasion where a woman used the extra bullets in her weapon to kill an attacker and two other cases women without additional ammunition ran out of bullets. "Individual liberty and freedom are not outmoded concepts," San Diego-based U.S. District Judge Roger Benitez wrote. He called the law that would have banned possessing any magazines holding more than 10 bullets unconstitutional. California law has prohibited buying or selling such magazines since 2000, but those who had them before were allowed to keep them. In 2016, the Legislature ...

Post Date: 2019-03-16 07:11:37 by Deckard
Heres video of a man in a Colorado suburb almost shot to death by a crew of AGWs for cleaning up his own backyard. The only reason the man is still breathing, probably, is because some neighbors stepped in to back the man up and made it clear to the armed psychopaths that their actions were being recorded. The man is using one of those ski pole-like grabbers to collect the trash and a bucket to collect what hes picked up. An AGW appears with his hand on his gun and starts barking commands at the man, ordering him to put down his weapon. The startled man responds: You are on my property, with a gun in your hand. Unprecedented Gun Confiscation Hits US as Thousands Of Guns Seized from Innocent Citizens
Post Date: 2019-02-11 16:37:39 by Hondo68
As politicians claim they aren't coming for your guns, over 1,700 citizens have had their guns confiscated in 2018 and this number is likely far higher as many states don't report it. As politicians and anti-gun rights activists continuously chant, we dont want to take your guns, behind the scenes in only the year politicians have been working overtime to limit your right to bear arms. These laws are all a reaction to the tragic shooting in Parkland, Florida and, like most politicians always do, they are not letting this tragedy go to waste. Since the tragic shooting in Florida last February, the Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence has ...
