Cokey Roberts, the well-known expert on guns and the 2nd Amendment that has been polluting the airwaves since the 1960's defined the "problem with guns in America. It is the public access to High Gauge Guns that is the problem." WOW! How can you argue with a statement like that? I really,REALLY wish someone would ask Cokey if she is in favor of private bodyguards,INCLUDING off-duty police officers being disarmed, also? This,of course, would include the armed off-duty cops that guard her and everyone else in the ABC building, not to mention the bodyguards she hires for her parties and other events.

A Tennessee Uber driver shot a man who fired a gun at him and his passenger on Wednesday night, according to police. The Uber driver told police that he drove his passenger to a Nashville liquor store and once there, the passenger held the door open for a man later identified as Jason Johns Jr., who gave him an “odd look,” according to The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department. Police said Johns then followed the Uber driver and passenger to a nearby street and when the driver stopped to let out his passenger, Johns fired shots from about 10 feet away. The Uber driver then allegedly returned fire, striking Johns, who took off on foot then got a ride to a local hospital where ...

During last week’s Democrat primary debate, former Vice President Joe Biden focused on gun control efforts like a government buyback of “assault weapons”, which is a word used by people who don’t understand firearms. But the craziest moment of his anti-Constitution diatribe came when Biden declared he supported regulation for the “number of clips in a gun”. Breitbart.com reports:Joe Biden said such an “assault weapons” buyback is possible and has already been a topic of conversation. He added that such a buyback ought to be “demanded” because “it’s a good expenditure of money.”Biden also boasted about securing the 1994 ...

from the here's-the-payoff-for-abusing-the-public's-trust-repeatedly deptMon, Jun 17th 2019 8:11pm — Tim Cushing The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has just handed down a refresher [PDF] on a few legal issues, most notably what is or isn't "reasonable" when it comes to suspicion. Police officers thought an anonymous tip about a man carrying a gun and someone running away from them created enough suspicion to chase down Daniel Brown, stop him at gunpoint, and search him for contraband. Contraband was found, leading to Brown's motion to suppress. The lower court said this combination -- an anonymous report of a gun and Brown's decision to run when he saw ...

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – High-capacity gun magazines will remain legal in California under a ruling Friday by a federal judge who cited a home invasion where a woman used the extra bullets in her weapon to kill an attacker and two other cases women without additional ammunition ran out of bullets. "Individual liberty and freedom are not outmoded concepts," San Diego-based U.S. District Judge Roger Benitez wrote. He called the law that would have banned possessing any magazines holding more than 10 bullets unconstitutional. California law has prohibited buying or selling such magazines since 2000, but those who had them before were allowed to keep them. In 2016, the Legislature ...

Arkansas is the land of the free. The Arkansas House passed legislation to end a statewide ban on the possession of machine guns and sawed-off shotguns this week. The bill, HB 1820, was approved on a 72-14 vote. Democrats made up most of the opposition. The bill’s sponsor, Justin Gonzales, says that people with a federal license can already possess these weapons and that some firearms collectors may actually be in violation of state law. Gonzales also made it clear that he “didn’t own such weapons”. The State Representative then added that these weapons are already legal at the federal level, albeit with stiff regulations: These things are legal federally if you’re ...

Here’s video of a man in a Colorado suburb almost shot to death by a crew of AGWs for cleaning up his own backyard. The only reason the man is still breathing, probably, is because some neighbors stepped in to back the man up  – and made it clear to the armed psychopaths that their actions were being recorded. The man is using one of those ski pole-like grabbers to collect the trash and a bucket to collect what he’s picked up. An AGW appears – with his hand on his gun – and starts barking commands at the man, ordering him to put down his “weapon.” The startled man responds: “You are on my property, with a gun in your hand.” The AGW ...

Unprecedented Gun Confiscation Hits US as Thousands Of Guns Seized from Innocent Citizens

As politicians claim they aren't coming for your guns, over 1,700 citizens have had their guns confiscated in 2018 and this number is likely far higher as many states don't report it. As politicians and anti-gun rights activists continuously chant, “we don’t want to take your guns,” behind the scenes — in only the year — politicians have been working overtime to limit your right to bear arms. These laws are all a reaction to the tragic shooting in Parkland, Florida and, like most politicians always do, they are not letting this tragedy go to waste. Since the tragic shooting in Florida last February, the Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence has ...

(Photo: Chris Eger/Guns.com) Legislation submitted in the Democrat-controlled Oregon legislature would fundamentally change the state’s firearm laws, recasting them as the most restrictive in the country. State Sen. Rob Wagner has submitted SB 501 for the upcoming session. Wagner’s bill would require licensing for gun owners prior to purchase, outlaw firearm magazines capable of holding more than five rounds and limit individual ammunition sales to no more than 20 rounds every 30 days. Now, because of a Dec. 5 ruling by the the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit, any New Jerseyan with a “high-capacity magazine” that holds over 10 rounds would have to turn tit in to the state or destroy it, according to Reason. Running on very little sleep, stressed from losing his job and relationship, and dealing with an undiagnosed mental disorder, NBR was alone in his house and had been throwing his possessions out the window. According to NBR, when his parents, who love their son dearly, heard about his behavior they were quite concerned for his safety and well-being. ...
