George Zimmerman, the man acquitted for the 2012 killing of Trayvon Martin, is suing the family of the slain teenager – as well as Florida prosecutors – for $100 million, arguing “false evidence” was manufactured during his trial.

The suit was filed in Florida’s Polk County Circuit Court on Wednesday, seeking significant damages for defamation, conspiracy and abuse of civil process. The complaint largely rests on Rachel Jeantel, a star witness for the prosecution in Zimmerman’s 2013 murder trial, alleging she gave untruthful testimony while falsely posing as Martin’s girlfriend, Diamond Eugene.

Zimmerman’s attorneys allege Martin’s family, their lawyers and state prosecutors “ordered, commanded, conspired, and covered up the illegal substitution of Defendant Eugene” – who they deem a “legitimate” witness – with Jeantel, “an imposter and fake witness who told a made to order false storyline to prosecutors.”

Attorney Larry Klayman, founder of legal watchdog Judicial Watch and a longtime conservative stalwart, will represent Zimmerman in the case, which names Martin’s mother Sybrina Fulton as the primary defendant. Ben Crump, the Martin family’s attorney, is also named in the suit for allegedly attempting to “deprive” Zimmerman of his constitutional rights, as well as Florida prosecutors Angela Corey, Bernie de la Rionda and John Guy.

Klayman says the defendants conspired to perpetrate a “fraud” on the court during the 2013 trial, adding “It was a complete travesty of justice which destroyed my client's life.”

The new suit is largely based on the findings of ‘The Trayvon Hoax: Unmasking the Witness Fraud that Divided America’, a book authored by Joel Gilbert that was later turned into a documentary. Though the film was set to premier at a Florida art festival on Thursday, the venue cancelled the screening after Zimmerman launched his suit, stating it was “not aware of all of the details surrounding the event.”

Martin’s killing and Zimmerman’s subsequent murder trial were intensely controversial, sparking accusations of racism and double standards in the criminal justice system, as well as protests around the country which provided inspiration for Black Lives Matter, an activist movement focused on police brutality against minorities.

It was either shoot the negro thug or let him either let Trayvon kill him or beat him into a pulp.

The guilt or innocence of George Zimmerman is not the issue in that latest filing. In his book, Joel Gilbert provides evidence that the girl who testified [Rachael Jeantel] that she was on the phone with Trayvon was an imposter. The girl who was on the phone was Trayvon's real girlfriend, Brittany Diamond Eugene. [half-sister to Rachel Jeantel]. It would appear that attorney Benjamin Crump knowingly supplied an imposter witness, and that prosecutors and Trayvon's mother Sybrina knew Rachel Jeantel was an imposter.

The issue here is knowingly putting an imposter witness on the stand to commit perjury.

If proven in court, some lawyers are in deep doo-doo, and George Zimmerman may become a multi-millionaire.

At the heart of it all is a letter dated March 19, 2012 from Diamond Eugene allegedly delivered to Sybrina Fulton, and which Sybrina Fulton is seen removing from her Bible at her deposition.

It reads:

March 19, 2012

I was on the phone when Trayvon decided to go to the corner store. It started to rain so he decided to walk through another complex because it was raining to (sic) hard. He started walking then noticed someone was following him. Then he decided to find a shortcut cause the man wouldn't follow him. Then he said the man didn't follow him again. Then he looked back and saw the man again. The man started getting closer. Then Trayvon turned around and said Why are you following me!! Then I heard him fall, then the phone hung up. I called back and text. No response. In my mind I thought it was just a fight. Then I found out this tragic story.

Thank you.

Diamond Eugene

Rachel Jeantel was slow or mildly retarded, and fat. Not a looker. Brittany Diamond Eugene was a looker.

At the trial was testimony by Rachel Jeantel that she lacked the ability to read the letter, and that a friend named Francine helped her write the letter.

The following exchange occurred between defense counsel and Rachel Jeantel, about the letter:

Did you sign it at the bottom?
Yeah.

What name did you use?
Diamond Eugene.

It's not actually your name?
No.

That's a name you made up?
That's my nickname.

But your last name isn't Eugene.
